I'm back from Portland and Powells was fabulous! (It was also packed like crazy - clearly that independent bookstore is doing just fine, thank you very much!)
Lots of books for Christmas, and music and a few movies (The Complete Thin Man Collection - yea!) And just lots of Christmasy goodness all the way around. Back tomorrow with a discussion of Dekooning's Bicycle which I finished before the holiday and a few other things.
