So how cool is the internet?! I post an entry about a great short story and how I wish I knew what the author was up to now and the next day he comments and tells me everything about what is going on with his writing!

It's so awesome!

So, first a clarification. I said in my post that the father and son relationship in Lewis's short story "Perfidia" showed he was still working through issues with his own father. I meant this on a very general scale - that he wrote about fathers and sons at all because he has so many issues with his own deceased father and the way he grew up. (Really, read his online autobiography, it's amazing stuff.) But Lewis wanted to make it clear that the very healthy relationship he portrayed in his story is about someone who was like a father to him, someone he misses very much. And because I hate it when folks misinterpret my stuff, I wanted to be sure and clear this up right here.

Now, order a copy of Subterranean Press magazine and read the story for yourself. It's about Glenn Miller and ebay! How can you resist?!

I'm giddy right now - I found Lewis Shiner! YEA!
