Right now I have interview/review questions out to the following authors:
Sara Gran, author of Come Closer, for a piece to run at Voices of New Orleans
Stan Jones, author of Shaman Pass, for a piece to run at Bookslut
Caroline Petit, author of The Fat Man's Daughter, for a piece to run at Bookslut (combined with the Jones interview).
I'm looking for contact emails for the following authors for reviews or features down the line:
Jeff Goodell, author of Big Coal
Erik Reece, author of Lost Mountain
I'm hoping to include comments from both of them in a combined article on their coal mining books. (And in case you're wondering coal is not cheap energy and Americans owe people of Kentucky and W. Virginia a lot!!!)
JP Stassen, author of Deogratias
This graphic novel on the Rwandan Massacre is absolutely amazing and one of the best war books I have read in quite some time. Everybody should know about it. I'm hoping to run a straight review in the July issue of Bookslut but I had a couple of questions about the author.
And I still need to work on a worrisome chapter for my AK flying book and do some major work on the historical journal excerpts in my YA urban fantasy (am I the only author who loves the inclusion of journal entries in books but finds them horribly difficult to write in a coherent manner?).
Much craziness around here don't ya think?
