I have a review for New Orleans: Playing a Jazz Chorus up at the Voices of NOLA site. This was one of the best books I've read about post-Katrina New Orleans. It focused almost completely on the city's musical history and the current musicians. If you have any interest in jazz history or finding out about contemporary NOLA musicians, then I can't recommend it enough. (And don't expect pretty covers all the time - it only works when I can steal all the coding right off the Voices of NOLA site! ha!)
