It reads just like you would expect from Cecil - the characters are as well thought out and complex and endearing as those she has already created in Boy Proof, The Queen of Cool and the upcoming YA novel Beige. I couldn't be more pleased with how Janes turned out. Cecil's story meshes perfectly with Jim Rugg's illustrations and the whole work is just a joy from beginning to end.
