Just a reminder that next Wednesday, August 12th, I will be hosting a One Shot highlighting books and authors from SE Asia. You can read all about it in the announcement post but the basic rules are simple - you post at your site on a book either set in SE Asia or written by a SE Asian author and send me the url. I'll post a master list with links and quotes here on Wednesday. (Interviews are also welcome!)

Hello! I will be out of the country on August 12 but my staff is prepared to post the write up's about the two youth books I have read at www.rascofromrif.org. We are also posting on Monday the 10th under my usual Monday banner - "COVER STORY"- the covers of four One Shot country's versions of CINDERELLA translated into English. Finally, on Friday under my regular Friday banner -WEEK'S END - we will post THE BEE TREE, a children's book set in Malaysia. Again, all will be at www.rascofromrif.org.
