Here are my grandparents, Aunt Cathy, Uncle Mike and front and center is my mom, looking right at the camera. This is before my mom and my uncle each got married - the last Christmas all of them were together. I love this picture, how beautiful they all are, how they are all so happy, how they are all so together. It wasn't a fairy tale, it wasn't all perfect and yet they had a fierce love for each other that saw them through the bad times. This picture reminds me how lucky I am to have them as my own; this is my family and it just doesn't get any better.
